NEP Studio 52 is the home of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. NEP provides all of the technical equipment, studio equipment and control, all of the office and green room space, audience holding area, and even the air conditioning and office supplies. Whatever Comedy Central needs, NEP is there to deliver, making sure that the production staff and everything in the studio is running smoothly.

For a production like The Daily Show, the daily news is what drives the content for the show. About 150 hours of news is recorded in the studio each day, five days a week. That video needs to be imported, reviewed, edited, and where necessary, incorporated into the show. Considering the control rooms, edit suites, EVS machines and graphics capabilities at Studio 52, it’s clearly one of NEP’s most complex configurations.
