Eurovision Song Contest

Stockholm, Sweden

It’s one of the largest and longest-running television events in the world. And in 2016, it set new records for markets and viewers. Over 200 million people in 42 countries tuned in for three nights in May of that year for the annual Eurovision Song Contest—and NEP delivered every spectacular minute of the event. NEP Sweden provided TV production, backup production, signal distribution, communication, EBU switches and wireless cameras, while our Mediatec Solutions division contributed all of the screens and projectors that brought the Ericsson Globe alive.
