Thursday, 12 September | De Hallen Studios, Amsterdam

Before the show began, NEP’s team of technology, operations and commercial experts onsite from 16 different countries were already busy meeting with industry partners, clients and their own colleagues from across the globe.

Thursday, 12 September | NEP The Netherlands, Media Park, Hilversum

Earlier on Thursday, and throughout the week of IBC, many NEP colleagues from across the globe are visiting the NEP The Netherlands headquarters, a cutting-edge media services facility located in the renowned Media Park in Hilversum.

Friday, 13 September | RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre

The IBC Show 2024 opened today, with thousands from the content and technology industry making their way into the RAI.

NEP’s experts are based in our outdoor exhibit, which can be found at Booth 0.A07. There you’ll find NEP’s newest IP-powered OB truck, the showcase of the exhibit this year. The new OB truck, connected to NEP’s global facilities through our own TFC broadcast control platform, will travel south following the IBC Show, to be based in Dubai serving clients in NEP’s Middle East operation.

Take a look at what NEP Group CEO, Martin Stewart, shared on his LinkedIn profile about NEP's newest IP 2110 OB truck. The video includes a walkthrough of this innovative new facility.

Following it's exhibit at IBC this new OB truck will move to the Middle East where it will be based in Dubai serving clients in that region.

Sunday, 15 September | RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre

Congratulations are in order for NEP’s global Mediabank team!

On Sunday, it was announced that Mediabank, NEP’s media asset management (MAM) solution, has been named a “Best of Show” winner at IBC 2024.The awards, from Future ‘s TV Technology, were judged by a panel of industry experts on the criteria of innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

We are thrilled to announce that Selina Walton, one of NEP Australia’s outstanding team members, has been named a finalist for the Production Support Engineer Award by the Rise Awards. Selina’s dedication, technical expertise, and commitment to supporting our projects have made a tremendous impact on the NEP team and the broader industry.

And that's a wrap at IBC 2024...

We ended the show with our annual Dutch Client Experience tour. Our team in the Netherlands organized groups of clients to visit key vendor booths, tour our new OB truck, and Geert Thoelen, Director of Technology for NEP Belgium, gave them an overview of our new vOB technology.

Traditionally, NEP The Netherlands invites its customers to their IBC experience tour on the last day of the show. Some 60 customers were given a highlights tour of our IBC exhibit where, of course, the new NEP OB truck could not be missed.
