John Gierl

John Gierl is NEP's Chief Information Officer, overseeing all of the company’s global IT systems infrastructure, integrations and support for employees. Prior to joining NEP in 2014, John served as Director, Systems Technology & Infrastructure for WESCO Distribution Inc., a leading provider of electrical, industrial and communications MRO and OEM products headquartered in Pittsburgh. During his 20-year career at WESCO, John held roles in Infrastructure, Technology, Systems and Database Administration, Acquisitions, eCommerce and Purchasing.

John earned his BS in Finance from LaRoche College and an MBA from Duquesne University.
