Carrie Galvin is Chief Strategy Officer of NEP, and is responsible for the company’s growth strategy and international expansion projects. She oversees acquisition integration, marketing and provides internal consulting and analytics assistance on strategic projects across all business units worldwide. Previously, Carrie served as NEP’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development from 2013 to 2015.
Prior to joining NEP, Carrie was an independent consultant to and then the SVP of Business Development for 3 Day Blinds. Prior, Carrie was a strategy consultant for Bain & Company where she focused on growth strategy, organizational redesign and merger integration for numerous Fortune 100 companies. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a M.B.A. with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Outside of the office, Carrie loves to adventure. She’s been skydiving, parasailing, zip lining, river rafting and even bungee jumping. Carrie is also a certified scuba diver. Besides being a daredevil, she spends a lot of her time working in her organic garden, which includes a worm farm and an aquaponics system.
Carrie describes herself as someone who aspires to be relatively positive, always looking to make things better and find solutions. Along with her encouraging outlook comes her life motto: “Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until your good is better than best.”
